FAQs about the VFG Learning Partners

The VfG Learning Partners (LP) is a business to business forum sponsored by Vested for Growth.

What is the purpose?

• The goal is to create a trusted environment within which business people committed to long-term growth strategies based on people and quality, leverage each other’s learning and apply it to their business.
• The secondary benefit is to distill best practices, expand the toolbox and generate deal flow from other peers for Vested for Growth.

Who are represented in the LP Groups?

• Eight to 12 CEOs
• Businesses at different stages of growth, experience, size and industry
• No direct competitors in the same group

How are the meetings conducted?

• Meetings are led by a host rotated among the group, and an outside facilitator. Hosts offer tours of their business as part of the meeting.
• The format of the meeting will allow members to resolve a few short-term issues first, followed by long-term developmental issues.
• Initial timeline: - 10 months from October to June.

What are participant responsibilities?

• Confidentiality (common definition to be developed).
• Attendance at all meetings (no more than 2 absences).
• Authentic sharing of ideas, concerns, triumphs and failures with the group.
• Host a meeting at your business and provide refreshments and a light meal.
• Report back on ideas implemented.
